Jacob Davis

Jacob Davis, CPA

Jacob Davis founded Village Financial, P.C. in 2013 shortly after receiving his CPA license in the states of Oklahoma & Oregon. What started back then as a “side hustle” during each year’s tax season, eventually grew into a year-round accounting, tax planning, and consulting company for both small businesses and individuals all over the United States by 2018. Prior to (and concurrent with) the growth of the Village Financial CPA firm, Jacob spent 13 years in the energy industry on various Accounting & Finance leadership teams. Jacob served as the Treasurer for Tapstone Energy and was responsible for managing the company’s short-term liquidity, G&A budgeting, external reporting of financial covenant compliance to lenders and investors, and general support for the Finance and Accounting teams. Before transitioning to Treasurer, Jacob served as head of Tapstone’s Accounting Department, building the team and its comprehensive accounting systems from scratch. He played a pivotal role in the initial start-up of the oil & gas company before it ever acquired its first oil & gas assets. Jacob’s professional career began at Chesapeake Energy where he spent nearly 9 years in various leadership roles within the energy giant’s Accounting Department. Jacob is a proud 2005 graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. He’s been married for 20 years to his wife, Penny, and their two daughters are their pride and joy. You can catch them at OKC Thunder home games cheering their hearts out.

Jed Davis

Jed Davis, CPA

Jed graduated from Oklahoma Christian in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked 12+ years in the oil and gas industry serving various roles while side-hustling as a CPA preparing business and individual tax returns. Now, Jed serves as the CEO of Village Financial P.C. where he is an owner of the company. Jed spends most of his time with his wife, Taylor, coaching his children’s sports teams, and cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Cowboys.

Ryan Ripperton

Ryan Ripperton, CPA

Ryan, a Colorado native, moved to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma Christian University. He graduated with a degree in accounting in 2012 and continued his education at UCO to obtain his CPA in 2019. He worked in the oil and gas industry 10 years prior to making the move to Village Financial as the firm manager in 2022. Followed by the transition to partner in 2024. He loves his wife, Laura, his 3 beautiful daughters, and his Colorado sports teams.
